Day 2 Deck Breakdown
Chikara Hayashi
Opposition-Orb was one of the most popular decks in the Grinders, which seems to have influenced player's choices today, supplanting many of the formerly dominant deck types. As could be expected, Fires was also a popular choice. Many players seemed to have anticipated this metagame, choosing to play anti-Orb decks with Yavimaya Barbarian, Raging Kavu, and Tangle Wire. It remains to be seen if these GR decks will rise to the top, or if blue will dominate Nationals two years in a row.
Here's what some of the top players are using.
