here is a large library of Modern decklists available, and I happened to come across one built around making libraries a little smaller. This deck uses the combination of Glimpse the Unthinkable, Archive Trap, and Hedron Crab to mill as many cards as possible, then uses Jace's Phantasm, Deathrite Shaman, and Visions of Beyond to take advantage of the work the mill cards did.
The efficiency of the mill cards are why this deck works. Paying zero mana to mill thirteen, one mana to mill three to six per turn, and two mana to mill ten means that you can threaten to deck the opponent in a matter of turns. Even if you don't, your opponent might just die to a Jace's Phantasm, and with Visions of Beyond, this deck has a good way to avoid running out of gas.
I like all the intricate synergies present, too. Ghost Quarter not only double-triggers Hedron Crab when you use it on yourself, but it gives an unwary opponent the incentive to shuffle, after which you Trap him or her right out. The discard spells help fuel Visions of Beyond and Deathrite Shaman, with Deathrite also combining with the Phantasm to legitimately threaten the opponent's life total.
As a hybrid combo/aggro deck with a solid amount of disruption, this looks like an interesting addition to the Modern format.
