Malik yn Memnon adh Shoon was a mameluk commander of the Shoon Imperium in life. He fought on behalf of Valashar against the Cormyrean armies of Crown Prince Azoun I, and he died amidst the Fields of the Dead in ignominy. Malik claimed to be the son of the legendary Memnon, but in truth that heritage was many generations removed.

Reflecting the parentage of his efreeti father, Malik stands nearly 7 feet in height and has coal black skin with a reddish tint and eyes that dance with fire. His features resemble that of a ghostly efreeti, but he is corporeal.
