Chainmail Set 4: Werebear Trooper

Why It Rocks: The Werebear Trooper is the powerful mercenary the side of Good has been hoping for, adding a huge punch and staying power to any Thalos, Mordengard, or Ravilla warband.

Tips and Tactics: If your enemy doesn’t have anything to punch through Damage Reduction, hit them fast and nasty with the Werebear. If they do have magic weapons and spells, advance more carefully until you can rush the Werebear into the enemy’s midst and tie them up with its Reach 1" and the huge damage its opportunity attack can inflict.

If you’re especially cunning, place the Werebear Trooper atop a Murder Tile, and you’ll be guaranteed to earn some more health for your model -- the nasty way.

Enemies Who Hate to See It: Enemy models with Damage Reduction hate the Werebear, because they can’t hope to withstand its full damage. Only well-played spellcaster warbands might feel confident when facing the Werebear Trooper -- nearly everyone else fears it.
