Why It Rocks: It’s the biggest model in the game and it’s Fearless, so any opponent who wants to take out the Zombie Minotaur will have to roll a lot of d20s.

Tips and Tactics: So the good news is that the Zombie Minotaur is nearly impossible for enemies to take out. The bad news, of course, is that in Rapid Strike games, your enemies will try to win by killing all your models except the Zombie Minotaur. What do you do about that?

One option is to play with ranged attack models and put the Zombie Minotaur in front of them -- your enemies have to get past the Zombie to stop the rain of arrows. Another option is to use the Zombie Minotaur as a bodyguard for spellcasters, especially for the Human Shadow Priest. The Priest’s sound burst spells can’t stun the Zombie, since all Undead are immune to stun.

Enemies Who Hate to See It: The Zombie Minotaur intimidates warbands composed entirely of high-value models that lack cannon fodder to throw against the Undead’s Reach 1" opportunity attack.
