Why It Rocks: Thalos needs a big model like this to offer the faction some Reach and melee power. And, like all the best converts, the Ogre Penitent follows orders without question. It’s not even a Difficult Troop.

Tricks and Tactics: The Penitent’s low armor and high speed combine to make its best position slightly behind the front line. Let your higher-armor troops suck up the enemy’s ranged attacks, then whip the Penitents around the corner of the line and hit where the enemy is weakest.

Enemies Who Hate to See It: Who hates to see the Penitent coming? Spellcasters who are over-invested in cause fear spells, unsupported archers, and wild troops who don’t know any better than to run onto the Ogre’s sword.
