Model: Ice Paraelemental
Why It Rocks: This is Mordengards elemental answer to the Ogres, Dire Boars, Abyssal Ravagers, and constructs that fight for the other factions.
Tricks and Tactics: The Ice Paraelementals speed means that you get to choose between using it as a shock troop ahead of your main force or keeping it back to fight alongside your other models. You certainly want to keep it in sight of your commanders, so that if it routs you can rally it before it leaves the table.
In many scenarios, the Paraelementals Reach 1" and high speed allow you to use it as a dangerous roadblock, giving the rest of your Dwarf models time to bring full force against the foe.
Enemies Who Hate to See It: Skeletal enemies would rather not fight the Ice Paraelemental, since cold damage ignores the Skeletal abilitys 50/50 miss chance. The fire-based creatures presently in the game dont match up well against the Ice Paraelemental, either, losing more from their own Cold Vulnerability than the Paraelemental loses from its Fire Immunity.
