Why It Rocks: The Demonic Gnoll Archer always gives elf archers a tough fight by inflicting ranged damage 2 with its 24" ranged attack and inflicting 2 melee damage. Better yet, it’s not even a Difficult Troop.
Tricks and Tactics: Your enemy will want to close the distance fast, or risk getting shot to bite-sized fragments. Unfortunately for your shot-up enemies, the Demonic Gnoll Archer is nearly as good in melee as it is at range. Since its health is relatively low, the Archer works best with backup from other Naresh troops optimized for melee.
Enemies Who Hate to See It: Drazen’s Horde warbands with low armor and slow Mordengard warbands don’t want to face off against these Archers.
