Set 2: Drow Warrior
By Bruce R. Cordell and Rob Heinsoo

Model:
Drow Warrior
Faction:
Kilsek
Why
It Rocks: First off, it's a drow! Not enough? Consider the poisoned
arrows the Drow Warrior can send winging through the darkness to strike
his enemies. With its Darkvision 24" ability, nothing but high walls
and other barriers protects the foe's models from a hail of death. Even
strong models rightly fear the Drow Warrior for this single ability to
render even the highest health meaningless.
Tricks
& Tactics: The Drow Warrior's poison arrows aren't his only trick.
He can cast darkness once per game. Since it's magical darkness,
the Drow Warrior cannot see through it the way it sees through
gloom. That means you don't want to cast the darkness on enemies
you're planning to shoot with poison arrows. Save the darkness
for slowing down enemy troops, especially in scenarios like Blood Harvest.
Enemies
Who Hate to See It: Low-armor models like Orc Berserkers don't want
to be on the receiving end of the Drow Warrior's poison arrows.
Cross-Faction
Warband That Might Want to Use It: Kilsek is a new faction without
commanders of its own, so every evil warband will want to use the
Drow Warrior -- a Drow Warrior can't come to the table without being cross-faction.
