Components: V,S,F
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: Touch
Target: One arrow or bolt
Duration: 10 minutes/level
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: No

Thieving arrow allows the caster to enchant one arrow or bolt with the ability to "bite" into stone or wood. This spell is most commonly used to allow the caster to fire an arrow or bolt with a rope attached to some other point. Alternatively, the spell may be used to enchant the arrow to affect stone monsters that could not otherwise be hit by non-magical weapons.

The arrow holds 100 lbs + 50 lbs / level of the caster before releasing from the surface. Neither arrow nor bolt will break while the spell is in effect, and a rope attached to the item when cast will not slide off (though the knot may come undone if not properly tied). Arrows or bolts fired with a rope attached will have a 20-foot penalty to range and a –2 penalty to attack rolls.

After the spell expires, the arrow or bolt may be removed from the surface with a successful Strength check (DC 15).

Focus: A small barbed hook and an arrow or a crossbow bolt.
