W hen I was seventeen years old, TSR announced that it was creating a Dragon magazine "spinoff " dedicated to publishing adventures. The magazine didn't even have a name at that point, although an obvious choice would present itself soon enough. When the first issue of Dungeon arrived in my mailbox, I nearly died of euphoria. I told my next-door neighbor that I wanted to be the editor of Dungeon magazine and work for TSR one day. It marked the first and last time I had a career epiphany.
