Revenge of the Sith Preview 8

Gotal Fringer

Gotals hail from the fourth moon orbiting the gas giant Antar, where they developed senses stretching beyond mere sight and hearing; Gotals possess shaggy fur, coarse-skinned faces, and twin cone-shaped growth sprouting from their heads which they use as extra-sensory organs. Through these cones, Gotals sense electrochemical activity, distinguishing emotional and energy waves, thus permitting them keen insight into others' minds and emotions.

With such keen insight, Gotals have done away with any form of government, conflict or courtship. However, others species are distinctly uncomfortable around the perceptive Gotals, which has led to violence -- before the Clone Wars, tension between the Jedi and Gotal extremists led to a bloody clash.

Gotals serve as some of the galaxy's more effective bounty hunters, using their advanced senses to find targets that would otherwise remain hidden. They do, however, have trouble using their senses in areas rich with electromagnetic energy, and cannot spend much time around droids.

The Gotal Fringer represents one of those working freelance throughout the galaxy -- and one that comes heavily armed. Like Rebel Storm's Heavy Stormtrooper, the Gotal Fringer is limited in his actions: he can move or attack, but not both on the same turn. However, while his weapon does not inflict the same damage as the Heavy Stormtrooper's, it does cause Disintegration -- an effect that causes the game's most serious Critical Hits.
