Late in the Mandalorian wars, the Old Republic fought to retake the planet Onderon and its moon, Duxon, from the Mandalorian invaders. Under the command of the Jedi Revan (before he turned to the dark side), Old Republic troops and their Jedi allies invaded Onderon and Duxon. Eventually, after intense fighting, the Old Republic forces dislodged the Mandalorians.
This scenario depicts one of many fighting retreats of the fractured Mandalorian forces on the planet Onderon. In the ruins of a small city plaza, a reduced, veteran Mandalorian squad must fight its way through a small, inexperienced Old Republic squad with strong Jedi Knights, which has moved to cut off the Mandalorians' escape route. Not content to simply flee, the Mandalorians intend to take out as many troops and Jedi as they can along the way.
Each side has a powerful leader who reflects some of their most basic sensibilities. The Mandalorians have a strong but individualistic warrior, and the Old Republic forces are led by an effective commander who has the ability to aid others in her squad.
This scenario uses miniatures from the Legacy of the Force and the Champions of the Force sets and the Korriban map from the Star Wars Miniatures Starter Set or the Champions of the Force promotional pack. If needed, other maps or minis may be used as indicated in the rules below.

Old Republic Victory Conditions
The Old Republic player wins by preventing a majority of the Mandalorians from exiting the map in 8 rounds (whether by defeating them or by preventing their escape by slowing them down or blocking them). Old Republic losses are not a factor in their own victory conditions.
Special Scenario Rules
Smoke: Thick smoke hangs over the battlefield. Roll two dice and use the lowest result when attacking targets 7 or more squares away. Targets 6 or fewer squares away are unaffected by smoke.
Special Modifications
Alternative Maps: Alternative maps may be used. Select starting locations for each player near opposite ends of the map, similar to the starting locations shown on the map above. The Old Republic squads must enter the map from opposite sides. If possible, neither side should start with line of sight to the other. Starting locations near doors or passageways are preferable.
