The wastes of Korriban harbor dark, aggressive, and terrifying creatures. The planet’s meager population hardly knows which are native and which are the descendents of long-abandoned or escaped pets, or possibly beasts that once were somewhat domesticated. From a practical standpoint, the distinction means little: they're all dangerous to the unwary traveler.
Searching the Sith ruins means fending off these vicious creatures. During the Jedi Civil War, the Sith Empire occasionally found it necessary to clear the nasty beings out from around their settlements and investigative areas. In keeping with Sith beliefs in strength and power, this task was sometimes left as a test to students of the academy. At other times, regular Sith troops were given the “opportunity” to prove their worth and dedication to Sith ideals and the protection of Korriban.
This scenario presents a clearing team suddenly ambushed by all manner of beasts, rushing at them out of the darkening landscape. Worse, the creatures draw power from the dark side of the force. The Sith must fight their way out -- or die trying.
This scenario features miniatures from the Knights of the Old Republic set. It uses the Korriban map from the Star Wars Miniatures Starter Set

Creatures Setup
The creatures squad has a total cost of 102 points. The creatures player may create his own 102-point squad instead, but only Fringe faction creature characters may be used. Creatures are defined as units that are clearly animals without riders, and may or may not have the Savage ability.
The creatures player sets up after all Sith units are placed on the map. The shyracks are placed in two of the areas marked B. All other creatures may be placed in any squares marked as low objects, as long as the number of low object squares equals the number of squares for the creature’s base (1 square units are covered by 1 square of low objects, whereas Large creatures must have 4 squares of low objects at their starting point). Also, the creatures must start at least 6 squares away from any Sith character.
