The Force Unleashed Release Event

Celebrate the release of The Force Unleashed, the latest set for the Star Wars Miniatures Game, with a day of epic battles. Numerous locations around the U.S. and Canada will host a day to remember. You could win Booster Packs of minis from the new set!

Event Date and Locations

Tournaments will take place November 16, 17, and 18, 2007, at locations across the U.S. and Canada. Check with your local venue for the exact date. (See the full list of venues below.)

Event Fee

The entry fee varies by location, so check with your local venue.

Tournament Structure

All tournaments will be modified Swiss-style; top cut is at the venue's discretion (must be announced before event starts).

All tournaments will be DCI-sanctioned 100-point or 150-point Limited.

All tournaments will be Sealed (Limited). Draft is acceptable, but only if all participants agree.

Tournament Format

Each player will build a squad using two The Force Unleashed Booster Packs and use rules located in a starter set. No miniatures from other sets are acceptable.

All venues have the option to run either a 100-point format without Huge figures, or a 150-point format with Huge figures.

Players should provide maps; maps should be selected as per the Star Wars Miniatures Floor Rules. Only 100- or 150-point format maps are legal.

All tournaments will use the Gambit format.

Prizes

At each venue, each of the first 15 participants will receive a special Star Wars Miniatures Squad Box.

Tournament winners will receive additional The Force Unleashed Booster Packs. Check with your local venue for details.
