This month's maps are all about the above-dungeon time PCs spend. Whenever they're not mucking through the slime of a cloying dungeon, they're out and about on the surface world, traveling through the things depicted on each of these maps. Whose territory are they passing through? Each of these maps has clear boundaries showing where one person's piece of land ends and the next begins. Are each of these maps sections of one kingdom made up of ancient family estates? Are they farms? You're free to decide what each map means to you. Don't forget to utilize the light-shaded versus the dark-shaded areas of each map. The light area might indicate a fiefdom all its own, or perhaps something else . . . .

01/22 Overland Map 4: The deepest swamp in the region lives next to a clear, peaceful lake. Nearby mountains and forests mean this area might be considered scenic, were it not for the horrors lurking in the swamp. |
