Limited Qualifer Fact Sheet
2005 D&D Miniatures Championships

Event Dates and Locations

2005 D&D Miniatures Championship Qualifier tournaments are held in locations across the United States from August through October 2005. For a list of Qualifier events near you, click here.

Eligibility
All players in good standing with the DCI are eligible to compete in D&D Miniatures Championship Qualifier events.

Format

• Sealed Deck format (2 Angelfire Boosters per player) with top 4 booster draft (2 Angelfire boosters per player)
• 200-point warbands
• Warband lists are required
• Check DCI Document Center for D&D Miniatures Limited-format rules.

Tournament Length

• Swiss rounds - 60 minutes per round
• Number of Swiss rounds based on attendance according to the following chart:

Advancement

• All players may participate in all Swiss rounds.
• The top 4 players after the final Swiss round will advance to the top 4 single-elimination finals.

Top 4

• Top 4 matches will have a 60-minute time limit.
• Where necessary, the standings after the Swiss rounds are still used to determine final order in the standings.

Notes

• 24K, REL 2
• All Universal Tournament Rules and D&D Miniatures Floor Rules are in effect for this event unless specifically overruled by information in this Format Document
• Players must bring pen, paper, card sleeves and appropriate counters.

Entry Fee
Entry fee varies by location. Check with your local event organizer for details.

Prizes

• The winner of each Qualifier receives $250 USD
• The top 4 players receive an invitation to compete in the 2005 Dungeons &Dragons Miniatures Limited Championship held at Gen Con So Cal, November 17-20 in Anaheim, California.
• The top 4 players receive a four-day pass for entry into Gen Con So Cal for themselves and a guest (approximate retail value: $120 USD).
• Top finishers win expansion packs of the most recent D&D Miniatures expansion.
