Participation in this event requires a DCI membership. If you are not a DCI member don’t worry, membership is free and you can become a member at the tournament. If you want to learn more about the DCI, click on the logo and enter a new world of tournament play.
The point total of your Limited warband must not exceed 200 points
Sealed (out-of-the-box) play has no faction rules. Any creature can be used from any faction.
Warbands cannot exceed twelve creatures, regardless of point cost, except where specified by special abilities such as Minions or Summoning. See Limited play in the tournament rules.
You must assault enemy territory and maneuver to keep your opponent's warband out of your territory.
Victory: Victory goes to the first player to score victory points equal to the warband limit: 200 points in a 200-point game. There are two ways to score victory points.
Eliminating enemy creatures: As in the Standard scenario, you score victory points equal to the cost of each eliminated creature.
Occupying at least one tile in the enemy's half of the board: At the end of each round of a 200-point game, if a player has one or more creature on a terrain tile that is entirely on the opponent's half of the board, that player is awarded 10 victory points. Each player can earn up to 10 victory points each round in this way, but never more than 10 in one round. A creature that takes up multiple squares is considered to be on a terrain tile if any part of the model is on that tile.
