We introduced the Primal power source last month in Player's Handbook 2. Here are a few miniatures to go along with two of the classes presented in the book.
Male Goliath Barbarian
The goliath's look was streamlined for Player's Handbook 2, but we knew early enough what this look would be to include this miniature. There is certainly an evolution for the goliath in miniature form: the Goliath Barbarian (with axe) in Deathknell is quite monstrous with an oversized head, but the Goliath Cleric of Kavaki is more petite. I think this one is the best goliath so far. We've generally steered this race to one wielding big two-handed weapons, so this goliath uses a nasty obsidian greatsword.
With two barbarian miniatures in the same box, we want to ensure that you have choice of what to add to your character, so we've included both the at-will power and a 6th-level utility power. The utility power is called laugh it off, which allows you to reduce a bit of damage against you as well as grant a bonus against the triggering enemy.
Female Elf Druid
The elf makes a great druid, so here is a staff-wielding female with a new at-will power. If you're the type of player that likes to lock enemies down in a specific area, grasping tide is a power you want to check out. Creatures that try to leave the burst's area after being hit have a chance of being knocked prone.
Male Human Barbarian
I love a good double-duty miniature. An old favorite of mine is the Daring Rogue from Dragoneye -– perfect for a rogue PC, also perfect for an alleyway thug ambushing the party. This human barbarian is another fun, dual-purpose mini -– great for a barbarian PC, also great to use as the 4th-level human beserker on page 163 of the Monster Manual. For those players using the miniature as a barbarian PC, we have packaged the new at-will barbarian power called foe to foe. This power is more useful as a battle progresses -– all you need to do is ensure that you are able to kill a foe.
Next week, we'll wrap up the last of the heroes packs -– Martial Heroes 2. See you then!
