Dragoneye Screensaver

Dragoneye is cool; screen savers are cool; ergo, a Dragoneye screen saver is even cooler than cool. This particular screen saver, however, would reach that elevated coolness quotient even without fractured Platonic logic. You can take our word for that or you can download and install it now and see for yourself what we're talking about.

To Use the Screensaver --

If you are using Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, or XP, double-click the zip file and it should unzip automatically. If it does not, use WinZip to expand the file. Once it's unzipped, double-click the installer application to install the screen saver. To set your screen saver preferences, right click on your desktop; select Properties; select the Screen Saver tab. To call up the screen saver on demand, follow those same clicks and then select Preview.

If you are using Macintosh OS 9 or OS X, unstuff the .hqx file corresponding to your operating system. Use Stuffit Expander to expand the files. (On OS X, this utility is included on your computer.) Once the file is expanded, double-click the installer application to install the screensaver. To set your screen saver preferences, click the Apple; Control Panels; Screentime Screen Saver. From this control panel you can select an "activate now" corner. To activate the screen saver anytime, drag the cursor to your "activate now" corner.

(The screen saver is designed to work on monitors using 4:3 resolution -- 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, 1152x864, 1280x960, or 1600x1200. If your monitor is set to a different screen size, you may want to reset it for best results.)

You can print a checklist of the Dragoneye set, with your figures already checked, by clicking the lower right corner of the screen saver. Clicking the X in the upper right corner returns you to your desktop.
