Likkisth: Xill Monk

XillAmong the xill, cruelty is most valued -- and Likkisth excels at it. He comes to Prime worlds from the infernal planes to torture, destroy, and foment unrest.

Combining his race's innate powers and planewalking ability with the training of a monk, Likkisth presents heroes with a formidable opponent. He can make unarmed attacks with all his arms, but cannot execute multiple attacks with all his arms at once. He is not afraid to get physical with any group of adventurers, but is not stupid; should a battle go against him, he escapes by planewalking and returns later to batter down the adventurers again. He is an ideal practitioner for any dirty tricks that you can think up.

Here we offer three versions of Likkisth, for varied challenge levels. He is presented with magic items equivalent to the value that a NPC of his level should have.

  • Planewalk (Su) -- Can cross from ethereal plane as a move action, but take 2 rounds to cross back, during which time they are immobile. On the 1st round opponents suffer 20% miss chance, on the second 50% miss chance.

About the Author

Robert Wiese never knew his parents. He was raised by kindly middle-class people, and grew up on the mean streets of suburbia. There, he learned important life lessons, such as the quickest route to the mall on a bicycle, how to borrow the car, and how to hang Christmas lights on a two-story house. Later in life, he discovered D&D, and gave up on all outdoor activities. Now he lives like a hermit, coming out of his cave only to fix the Internet connection or go to work at Wizards of the Coast.
