Lorveck, the Canomorph Rogue

Lorveck the Skilled

Lorveck the Vultivor Rogue (Vorr Form): Male vultivor rogue 6; CR 10; Medium outsider (chaotic, evil, extraplanar, shapechanger); HD 3d8+6 plus 6d6+12; hp 52; Init +10; Spd 40 ft.; AC 22, touch 16, flat-footed 22; Base Atk +7; Grp +10; Atk +14 melee (1d6+5/18-20, +1 rapier) or +13 melee (1d4+3/19-20, dagger); Atk +14/+9 melee (1d6+5/18-20, +1 rapier) or +13/+8 melee (1d4+3/19-20, dagger); SA sneak attack +5d6; SQ alternate form, command vorrs, darkvision 60 ft., evasion, improved uncanny dodge, outsider traits, scent, shadow form, shadow jump, trap sense +2, trapfinding, uncanny dodge; AL CE; SV Fort +7, Ref +14, Will +6; Str 17, Dex 23, Con 14, Int 10, Wis 12, Cha 17.

Skills and Feats: Balance +9, Disable Device +10, Disguise +12, Hide +16, Listen +9, Move Silently +12, Perform (act) +12, Search +10, Spot +13, Survival +7, Swim +6; Alertness, Blind-Fight, Improved Initiative, Weapon Finesse.

Sneak Attack (Ex): This ability functions like the rogue ability of the same name.

Alternate Form (Su): Lorveck can assume humanoid form at will. Transforming to humanoid form from vorr form, or vice versa, is a move action. This transformation works like alter self; Lorveck retains his physical ability scores, extraordinary abilities, and supernatural abilities in humanoid form. He loses his natural attacks and is limited to the movement of the form he assumes. Lorveck can choose only humanoid forms of Small to Large size. Lorveck's alternate form ability does not affect equipment he may be carrying or wearing.

Command Vorrs (Sp): Lorveck can use greater command at will against vorrs. These creatures will never voluntarily attack Lorveck.

Evasion (Ex): If exposed to any effect that normally allows a character to attempt a Reflex saving throw for half damage, Lorveck takes no damage with a successful saving throw.

Improved Uncanny Dodge (Ex): Lorveck can no longer be flanked, since he can react to opponents on opposite sides of him as easily as he can react to a single attacker. This defense denies rogues the ability to use flank attacks to sneak attack Lorveck. The exception to this defense is that a 10th-level or higher rogue can flank Lorveck (and thus sneak attack him).

Outsider Traits: Lorveck cannot be raised, reincarnated, or resurrected (though a limited wish, wish, miracle, or true resurrection spell can restore life). Darkvision 60 ft.

Scent (Ex): Lorveck can detect approaching enemies, sniff out hidden foes, and track by sense of smell.

Shadow Form (Su): Once per day, Lorveck can assume the form of a living shadow for up to 10 minutes. While in shadow form, Lorveck can move at normal speed on any surface, including walls and ceilings, and even across liquids. It can be detected by effects that detect thoughts, life, or presences (including true seeing); otherwise Lorveck gains a +15 circumstance bonus on Hide checks. While in shadow form, Lorveck gains damage reduction 50/good and iron and is immune to blindness, critical hits, damage to ability scores from nonmagical attacks, deafness, disease, drowning, poison, and stunning. He takes half damage from fire and acid.

Shadow Jump (Su): Lorveck can jump from shadowy area to shadowy area as if by dimension door. He can cover 160 feet per day, and that amount can be split among multiple jumps. Jumps shorter than 10 feet count as 10 feet.

Trap Sense (Ex): Lorveck has a +2 bonus on Reflex saves to avoid traps and a +2 dodge bonus to AC against attacks by traps.

Trapfinding: Lorveck can use the Search skill to find traps with Search DCs higher than 20.

Uncanny Dodge (Ex): Lorveck can react to danger before his senses would normally allow him to even be aware of it. He retains his Dexterity bonus to AC (if any) regardless of being caught flat-footed or struck by an invisible attacker. (He still loses any Dexterity bonus to AC if immobilized.)

Possessions:+1 leather armor,+1 rapier, dagger, potion of cure moderate wounds (4), potion of haste (1), rope (20 feet), masterwork thieves' tools, 33 gp.

Lorveck the Vultivor Rogue (Humanoid Form): Male vultivor rogue 6; CR 10; Medium outsider (chaotic, evil, extraplanar, shapechanger); HD 3d8+6 plus 6d6+12; hp 52; Init +10; Spd 40 ft.; AC 19, touch 16, flat-footed 19; Base Atk +7; Grp +10; Atk +13 melee (2d4+3, bite); Full Atk +13 melee (2d4+3, bite) and +8 melee (1d3+1, 2 claws); SA sneak attack +5d6, trip; SQ alternate form, command vorrs, darkvision 60 ft., evasion, improved uncanny dodge, outsider traits, scent, shadow form, shadow jump, trap sense +2, trapfinding, uncanny dodge; AL CE; SV Fort +7, Ref +14, Will +6; Str 17, Dex 23, Con 14, Int 10, Wis 12, Cha 17.

Sneak Attack (Ex): This ability functions like the rogue ability of the same name.

Trip (Ex): If Lorveck hits with a bite attack, he can attempt to trip the opponent as a free action without making a touch attack or provoking an attack of opportunity. If the attempt fails, the opponent cannot react to trip Lorveck.
