In a small village on the edge of the wilds, a young Gwynnyth sat by the community bonfire enrapt as the village elder told tales of their ancestors. Day after day, the legends of their trials poured into her soul. But all too soon the midsummer festival called her away with her family to visit relatives in the capital. She vowed that, upon her return, she'd hear every tale the storyteller had to tell. When she came home a week later, she found the small community pillaged. Gwynnyth swore revenge on the orcs that attacked her village, and took up arms against them. She soon realized that she could not bring back her neighbors, but she could help them live on by recording and passing on their stories and knowledge. Gwynnyth has enlisted other young bards to be her additional eyes and ears. They gather stories from places far and wide. And every midsummer, they meet in a desolate location on the edge of the wilds to share their knowledge gained throughout the year.
