It was a fairly small tournament for a Pro Tour qualifier with only 83
people in attendance. Head judgeing the tournament was Darth May from
Pittsburg and, despite the low turnout there were a few big name
players there like Mark Globus, Jason Opalka, and Eric Taylor.
Everything ran smoothly through the tournament with the exception of a
few problems with out dated organizers software which caused a couple
minor problems. Things were worked out and twelve players recieved
their registered deck back, the rest were past out. A couple of
warnings were handed out for miss registered decks and all were given
time to biuld thier decks.
No major problems ocurred until late in the swiss rounds when a player
cycled an Ostrasize and three turns later his opponent noticed that it
didn't have cycling. He was given a warning and a game loss for drawing
extra cards.
No decks were checked after initional regisrtation which may be a
factor in the low amount of problems that occurred but all in all it
was a well run tournament thaks to the people at professional events
service and judging staff.
