If you enjoyed Magic Game Day, take the next step and stretch out the fun throughout the Summer of Magic. Tournaments begin July 21 (the week after Magic Game Day) and run until September 22. Organizers may run up to 10 Summer of Magic tournaments throughout the summer.

Prizes

  • Foil Treetop Village and Faerie Conclave promo cards
  • First place wins a promo card of his/her choice
  • Second place wins a promo card of his/her choice
  • Door Prize: The remaining two promo cards will be randomly awarded to two participants that did not finish first or second.
  • Tournament Structure/Formats

  • All Summer of Magic Tournaments will be sanctioned as Limited. (Sealed or Booster Draft only)
  • All tournaments should be run using Swiss rounds. (Minimum of 3 rounds of play)
  • Tenth Edition Sealed Deck: Each participant receive 5 boosters.
  • Booster Draft: Each participant receive 3 boosters from any Magic expansion or Core Set.
  • Sealed Deck: Each participant receive 1 Tournament Pack, and 2 boosters from any Magic expansion or Core Set.
  • All players must receive the same product mix.
  • Players build a 40-card minimum deck
  • Notes

  • All Summer of Magic Tournaments are sanctioned by the DCI™
  • Summer of Magic Tournaments will not run on Fridays.
  • Entry Fees includes product used in tournament and any additional prize support.
