Glissa Sunseeker

The World of Mirrodin
Far from Dominaria, in a distant corner of the Multiverse, lies Mirrodin, a plane made entirely of metal. Blades of golden grass in the Razor Fields chime in the wind. Huge misshapen boulders are magnetically suspended above the peaks of rusted iron mountains. Elsewhere, a wide sea of silvery liquid reflects the sky like a rippled mirror. On the horizon, four suns rise and set in strange orbits: white, blue, red, and a black sphere of void.

Among the towering copper trees of the Tangle, the Viridian elves do the best they can to thrive in this strange version of nature. Glissa Sunseeker, the finest hunter and perhaps the most skilled warrior of the elves, lived in the treetops with her people, high above the vicious web of predator and prey below. But when the levelers came, their safety was shattered utterly. Countless elves were slaughtered by the grotesque machines designed solely for killing. Glissa barely escaped with her life, dragged from the Tangle half-conscious, hanging on the claw of a damaged leveler.

The trolls of Tel-Jilad had tried to warn her, to protect her. They said the monstrosities were coming for her, and that she, above all others, needed to live. How did they know what was to come? Who sent the levelers to kill her, and why? These questions would lead her on a journey through Mirrodin and toward a mystery greater than she never imagined.

Found out more about the new world of Mirrodin in the new novel - Moons of Mirrodin - by Will McDermott and in the Mirrodin Player's Guide, both of which can be found in the Mirrodin Fat Pack.
