Grand Prix Bochum is over and despite a strong German presence no team from the host nation managed to make it to the final. The Unusual Suspects (David Brucker, Reinhard Blech and Dirk Heim) came the closest but had to settle for third place. In the end the Dutch team of Schietkoe (It stands for "Shooting Cow" in case you're wondering) continued the form they'd shown on the first day by drafting all the way into the final. Standing in their way was the highly experienced Team Burkas (Nicolai Herzog, Anton Jonsson and Tuomo Nieminen). Schietkoe aren't slouches either with former World Champion Tom van de Logt on the roster.

An average set of cards in the final draft made for an interesting final match. In the battle of the fat green monsters Stijn Cornelissen had the last word against Nicolai Herzog as his Trolls of Tel-Jihad was too much for the Norwegian. The other Cornelissen won the battle of the Affinity mirrors in a tight third game and then Jonsson's match no longer mattered as his team were already 2-0 down.
The two lesser known Cornelissen brothers finally got their chance to stand out of the shadows of their more famous brother Kamiel.
