Airport Transportation
Taxis: $21.00 from the airport to the central business district for one person and $8.00 per person for three or more passengers from the airport to the central business district. Pickup is on the lower level outside of the baggage claim.
Airport Shuttle Service: $10.00 per person for a one-way ticket from the airport to the central business district, and $10.00 for a return trip. Three bags per person. Call (504) 465-9780. Pickup and ticket purchases can be made on the lower level outside of baggage claim. The airport shuttle also provides a limousine service by reservation (limited availability). A stretch limo is $90.00 and can accommodate six people.
Jefferson Transit: $1.10 includes regular fare and one transfer good on any Jefferson Transit bus. Fares for the Airline Highway bus are $.80 from the airport to Tulane Avenue or $1.10 from the airport to Elk Place in the central business district. The Airline Highway bus stops outside of entrance #5 on the upper level and runs approximately every 15–20 minutes on weekdays, and every 30 minutes on weekends.
Mandatory Registration
Player registration will occur at the tournament site from 4:00–8:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 30th, 2003.
Players must have a signed waiver and consent form to compete at Pro Tour–New Orleans. Forms can be downloaded at wizards.com/protour and will be available onsite. Minors must have a parent or guardian's signature on these forms. Participants of Pro Tours – Boston 03 do not need to fill this form out again this season. Return the registration and waiver forms to Wizards of the Coast or bring them with you to registration. We will make forms available for competitors at registration, if necessary.

At registration, all participants must present one of the following forms of identification:
- a driver's license, or
- a passport, or
- a copy of your birth certificate and a photo ID (school ID is acceptable)

Format
- Extended Constructed format
- Check www.thedci.com for Extended format rules.
Round Length
- 60 minute rounds, 16 Swiss Rounds total + Top 8 single-elimination finals.
- When time is called, the active player will finish the turn and five additional turns will be taken
- Stalling and slow play rules will be strictly enforced during the tournament.
Advancement
- All players participate in Friday's 8-round competition.
- Players with 15 or more match points after round 8 advance to Saturday's competition.
- The top 8 players after round 16 advance to Sunday's top 8 single-elimination finals.
Notes
- Players are responsible for knowing all DCI rules and high-level tournament rules.
- Players must bring pen, paper, card sleeves and appropriate counters.
