Player Hotel Information
Hotel Ibis- Earls Court London is offering a special rate for players and their guests who are attending Pro Tour London. This is a great option since the hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the Tournament Hall. All you have to do is download this pdf, fill it out, and fax it to the hotel to secure your reservation.

Mandatory Registration
Player registration will occur at Hotel Ibis Earls Court London (47 Lillie Road) 16:00-20:00 on Thursday, July 7th.
Players must have a signed waiver and consent form to compete at Pro Tour London. Forms can be downloaded at wizards.com/protour and will be available onsite. Minors must have a parent or guardian’s signature on these forms.
Bring these forms with you to registration. We will make forms available for competitors at registration, if necessary.
At registration, all participants must present one of the following forms of identification upon request:
- a driver’s license, or
- a passport, or
- a copy of their birth certificates and photo IDs (school IDs are acceptable).

Format and Schedule
All Universal Tournament Rules and Magic: the Gathering Floor Rules are in effect for this event unless specifically overruled by information in this Format Document
Format
- Booster Draft
- 1 Champions of KamigawaTM, 1 Betrayers of KamigawaTM, and 1 Saviors of KamigawaTM booster pack will be used for drafting.
- Competition will consist of 5 Booster Drafts, each followed by 3 rounds of competition.
- Check www.thedci.com for Booster Draft rules.
Round Length
- 15 Swiss Rounds total, 55 minutes per round
- Top 8 single-elimination finals have no time limit
- When time is called, the active player will finish the turn and five additional turns will be taken
- Stalling and slow play rules will be strictly enforced during the tournament.
Advancement
- All players may participate in the first 2 drafts and Swiss rounds of Friday's competition.
- Players with 12 or more match points after round 6 will advance to draft 3. Draft 3 will take place on Friday immediately following round 6 (See schedule below).
- The top 8 players after round 15 will advance to Sunday's top 8 single-elimination finals.
Top 8
- Top 8 matches will be best 3 of 5
- The Top 8 players will be seated randomly at the draft table immediately prior to drafting
- The Top 8 bracket will be determined using this random seating.
- Where necessary, the standings after the Swiss rounds will still be used to determine final order in the standings.

- Players are responsible for knowing all DCI rules and high-level tournament rules.
- Players must bring pen, paper, card sleeves and appropriate counters.
