Player Hotel
Dates on our room block cover Thursday, July 26th through Monday, July 30th. Dates outside that range are not covered by the block. Space is limited, so please contact the hotels below to book rooms under the "U.S. Nationals and Scholarship Series Championship" room blocks. To be sure you can get on the block, make sure you contact the hotels before June 30th.

Eligibility
The Magic: the Gathering® Scholarship Series Championship is an invitation-only event, open to college-bound DCI members in good standing who have won an invitation through DCI ratings or from Scholarship Series qualifying events. To see the current invite list, please click here.
Registration Requirements
- We are required to have the following to complete tournament registration:

Bring your Parents: If you are 17 or under, you must have a parent or guardian present at registration.

Consent Form: filed with Wizards of the Coast. If you are 17 or under, the form requires parental signature. The consent form is available online at the Scholarship Series frontpage.

Proof of identity and age: If you don't have a photo ID, please bring appropriate government-issued proof of age documentation (examples: birth certificate, passport, state ID card, student body card that contains date of birth, drivers permit).
Registration Locations and Times
- There will be signs posted directing you to the registration location. If you have questions, one of the Wizards of the Coast staff members will happily assist you. Scholarship Series players can register at the following times and locations:
4:30 pm - 8 pm Friday, July 27th inside the tournament hall.
Format
- Standard Constructed
- Deck lists are required and will be collected at the 9:00 AM player meeting on Saturday
- Check www.thedci.com for Standard-format rules, including possible banned cards
Round Length
- 13 Swiss Rounds total, 50 minutes per round
- Saturday will have 9 Swiss-format rounds of competition
- Sunday will have 4 Swiss-format rounds of competition
- Top 8 single-elimination finals have no time limit
Advancement
- All players may participate in all Swiss rounds on Saturday
- Players with 15 or more match points after round 9 will advance to Sunday's competition
- The top 8 players after round 13 will advance to Sunday's top 8 single-elimination finals

- Top 8 matches will be best 2 of 3
Notes
- 40K, REL 3
- All Universal Tournament Rules and Magic: the Gathering Floor Rules are in effect for this event unless specifically overruled by information in this Format Document
- Players are required to use the same Standard deck for Saturday and Sunday
- Players are responsible for knowing all DCI rules and high-level tournament rules
- Players must bring pen, paper, card sleeves and appropriate counters

9:15 AM: Round 10 begins
- The top 8 single-elimination will begin shortly after the completion of round 13 (est. 2:30 PM)
- An award ceremony will take place immediately following the single-elimination top 8
Prize Payout
The Scholarship Series offers $100,000 in scholarship prizes to the top finishers at the Championship.
