ack in 1993, it may not have been clear to folks not named “Richard Garfield” that a zero-mana mana-producing artifact was slightly better than “just a basic Plains.” But these days, Vintage players definitely know the power of their moxen.
So when the winner of the 2006 Vintage Championship walks up on stage to claim his or her specially-commissioned alternate art for Mox Pearl this August, he or she will deserve every moxy inch. Here's a photo of this special prize, with a Magic card shown for scale.
