his is a raw sketch for a Modern deck that basically just mashes a bunch of combos together and hopes to hit any of them.
The combos are: Hive Mind + Pact of the Titan (which can be found by Tolaria West); Possibility Storm + Tolaria West for Ornithopter, which casts Emrakul; or Through the Breach + Emrakul. Since all of these require a five- or six-mana spell, but don't care about having to cast other spells this turn, Pentad Prism is the ideal way to cast these quickly, allowing for five mana on turn three or six on turn four by itself.
Serum Visions, Sleight of Hand, and Remand don't see a ton of cards, but with so many different combo pieces, assembling something that works should be relatively easy.
The theory is that in Game 1, your opponent should have a lot of cards that don't do anything against you, like creature removal, and you should be able to ignore whatever he or she is doing. This will be least effective against discard, counterspells, and maybe burn, which could be too fast.
The sideboard offers four Leyline of Sanctity, which trumps discard and burn, and five cheap counterspells to fight against other decks with counterspells. Echoing Truth offers a catchall, and Lightning Bolt and Pyroclasm buy time against aggressive decks or answer troublesome creatures like Gaddock Teeg
