he extremely aggressive Blitz version of Naya Humans has been popular on Magic Online. Today's deck is evolved from the same school but pushes it in some interesting ways.
First, and most obviously, the deck is set up to use Thatcher Revolt as a finisher—it's traded in Flinthoof Boar to maximize the number of Humans, taking advantage of both Mayor of Avabruck and Hamlet Captain to push the tribal synergy, and with those two and Champion of the Parish each potentially adding 3 damage to a Thatcher Revolt, it's easy for the spell to kill someone from a high life total.
Second, this build has managed to trim the already-low twenty or twenty-one lands down to a slim eighteen by replacing Experiment One (or Wolfbitten Captive, as I prefer) with Avacyn's Pilgrim. With eight creatures that make Avacyn's Pilgrim a reasonable attacker in addition to being a mana source, it definitely fits into the deck well, as long as you can draw one of the twelve lands that let you cast it.
This build is all about maximizing synergy over playing individually powerful cards. The synergy actually makes the deck more powerful and explosive, but in exchange it's now even weaker if it mulligans (which it's more prone to do) and weaker against opponents who can break up its synergy. Still, in the mirror matches where all that matters is winning the race, it's important to be as extreme as possible, and this build definitely fits that bill.
