When last we left our heroes, they had defeated one of the most terrible foes the Realms had ever seen, and carved out a little space in the city of Waterdeep that they could call their own. Now a new opportunity… err… adventure beckons! Word has reached the Acquisitions Incorporated headquarters of some dragon eggs that are in great peril.
To preview the game, we're also pleased to present the D! True Waterdeep Story... of Acquisitions Incorporated. The party has been through a lot of adventures… and more than a few interns.
Penny Arcade/PvP Series 6: Ark of the Mad Mage
Wizards of the Coast and Penny Arcade proudly present the latest installment of the Acquisitions Incorporated Dungeons & Dragons saga! This rollicking series of podcasts chronicles the party's latest adventure, leading up to the Live D&D Game at PAX 2013. The heroes of Acquisitions Incorporated have a new intern and find themselves in Waterdeep, where something big is about to go down.
The heroes find a magic gem, a magic ring, and a magic lamp. It's a Magic Day in Undermountain!
Omin has a near-death experience, prompting him to embrace a new god. Meanwhile, Undermountain beckons!
Starting with a coin tossed into the Devourer of Magic, the party moves on to carefully considered negotiations with the djinn who helped construct Halaster's ark.
The heroes navigate the puzzles and perils of Undermountain in their search for the lost ark of Halaster the Mad Mage.
After the djinn's gift is chosen, the party moves on to find a conveniently waiting prisoner – and must deal with the consequences of a prematurely accepted kiss.
The exploration of Undermountain takes a dark turn when Jim Darkmagic gives another wizard the bird.
So far, the new intern has not quite worked out exactly as planned: there is a corporate system of reprimands for his behavior. Nonetheless, many lessons are learned as the adventure concludes!

Submatron Galash of trading concern House Galash has brought in extra security for a trip to the "free city" of Tyr. Not that it'll help.
Beneath the sand of the ruins, a creature is stirring... and it makes itself known. When its tendrils connect, however, they recoil; there is something about the party's nature that is... unappetizing.
In this episode, a Matron, old adages, and obsidian spheres await the pleasure of Duma and his companions.
The four pillars the party sees extend downward, a hundred feet, and four elemental monuments stand outside an ancient temple whose courtyard is now a rickety tower of bones.
As the party scrapes together what they can from the wreckage, a dark and growing cloud to the south draws their eye.
The fight continues, as the podcast series concludes: "We serve the Wastewalker, and through him, the omnipresent sun. There are no 'good wizards.' Only darker shades of black."
The adventure may have ended, but the players and their DM look back at their experiences in the game. The world of Athas is considered, and all that sets Dark Sun apart from other campaign settings is discussed.

In this episode, the members of Acquisitions Incorporated learn about the death and dying rules… but does it concern them, the boar, or the dwarf?
There is something on the roof… a guy on the roof… Or is there? Sometimes houses just have guys on their roof…. at least so goes the theory.
A long hallway branches off to a perpendicular hallway with three small chambers. In the leftmost chamber: a bedroom, wherein Binwin has awoken their dwarven adversary.
Through the front doors, Acquisitions Inc. enters a snow-covered yard surrounded by a 20-foot wall. In the middle of the yard, a cabin waits, smoke rising from its chimney.
The battle continues! Acquisitions Incorporated has their backs against the wall fighting the Ambershards—and now, in the heat of combat, more enemies flood into the mausoleum.

They're back! The folks at Penny Arcade and PvP sit down once again with Wizards of the Coast for a session of 4th Edition D&D. This time, they've hired a new member for their party—Wil Wheaton!
Acquisitions Incorporated continues their… acquisition incorporating. In the first episode of this latest podcast series, the party joins forces and finds its way into adventure in the Borderlands...
What's the best kind of brand? Can the object of your enmity be a threshing machine? Does a grabbed dwarf get pulled along with his opponent, or does the dwarf get pulled away?
Part 2 continues with a roll for initiative! Acquisitions Inc. gets the drop on the sheltering guards, opening up with a brutal tide of iron.
This party is on fire! Literally… and as if that weren't bad enough, Binwin is drawn into an iron maiden. (Remember: just because you can double-move doesn't mean you always want to.)
Part 3 continues with a visit down the hole in the broken tower... Something is waiting for them (and their rope ladder), but who (or what)?
It starts with a scream. It continues with a battle standard being planted (augmented with another scream). And it ends with archers perforating Binwin…
