Wizards of the Coast LLC returns to Indianapolis to participate as an official co-sponsor of GenCon and sponsor of True Dungeon! A full slate of seminars and events is on the schedule for 2009. Stop by the booth for demos of D&D Insider and a sneak peek of new art from Magic: The Gathering Zendikar. Living Forgotten Realms and Much More!

GenCon Indy plays host to the best new adventures for the Living Forgotten Realms campaign, as well as other special D&D 4th Edition events. This year, we premiere the LFR mini-campaign "Embers of Dawn" with a 2-round adventure called Stirring the Embers for new characters set in Returned Abeir. Our first adventuring company event, Jungle Hunt, takes characters to Chult, and the special (playable by characters of any level) Ghosts of the Past delves into the dangers of Myth Drannor. In addition, the D&D Championship returns this year as the premiere 3-round team elimination tournament, but there’s a new twist -– you bring your own characters created with the D&D Character Builder! Lastly, we round out our special offerings with our classic Dungeon Delve and the new, super-endurance Ultimate Delve. Check out the back of the program guide for all the details on a great weekend of 4th Edition play!

Celebrate 25 years of Dragonlance!

It is hard to believe, but the world of Dragonlance has been entertaining readers and fans for 25 years. Authors Margaret Weiss and Tracy Hickman, and cover artist Matthew Stawicki, will be on hand for autographs. Be sure to pick up a copy of the final installment of The Lost Chronicles trilogy -– Dragons of the Hourglass Mage -- and stop by the 25th Anniversary party (location TBD)!

Artist Signings

Get your Magic cards signed by popular artists Chippy and Chris Rahn in Hall F. Artists William O'Connor and Dan Scott will be signing in the Sagamore Ballroom, and Keith Baker and Wayne Reynolds will be having a special Eberron signing on Friday night from 6:00 to 7:30.

Tournaments

Wizards has a huge lineup of tournaments this year at GenCon Indy. In Hall F, we have championship events for Magic: the Gathering, including the 2009 Vintage, Legacy, and Block Constructed Championships. A full slate of Magic events will be run all weekend, including Pro Tour Austin Qualifiers, leagues, booster drafts, and the Magic Online Live Series with a prize purse of $5,000. In addtion, there will be a special Magic at GenCon Challenge open to qualifying WPN retail locations.

Also in Hall F, we have championships, leagues, and other tournaments for Star Wars Miniatures and Heroscape. Championships for Axis and Allies Miniatures will be run in room 116, along with other tournaments and leagues. In the Sagamore Ballroom, alongside the RPGA games, the DDM Guild presents a variety of Dungeons & Dragons Miniatures tournaments and events.
